Manufacturer’s Employees Are Connected For Safety Alerts
One of the world’s largest manufacturers of industrial machinery found itself relying on an inefficient emergency notification system that no longer suited the size of its operation. After a crisis event, they found themselves looking for a new solution. Plant management upgraded to Blackberry AtHoc, and they now have 25 “panic boxes” placed strategically within the facility. The emergency notification system is set up so that anyone in any part of the facility should be able to reach one of the boxes in under 10 seconds. Each box is connected to a cloud-based platform, and programmed with four categories: physical, medical, security, and environment.
